Efektivitas pendidikan kesehatan prakonsepsi menggunakan buku saku terhadap pengetahuan pasangan usia subur tentang kehamilan berisiko

Latar Belakang: Kehamilan berisiko dapat membahayakan ibu maupun janin bahkan meningkatkan kematian ibu dan bayi. Salah satu faktor yang berkaitan dengan risiko tinggi kehamilan ibu adalah usia ibu terlalu muda (< 20 tahun), terlalu tua (> 35 tahun), terlalu sering atau terlalu dekat jarak kehamilan, serta terlalu banyak anak. Beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan meningkatnya angka kematian ibu dan bayi akibat kehamilan resiko tinggi antara lain rendahnya kesadaran dan pengetahuan pasangan usia subur (PUS) tentang kesehatan kehamilan dan resiko kehamilan saat masa sebelum hamil. Sehingga dibutuhkan informasi, edukasi serta promosi kesehatan yang jelas dan benar. Promosi kesehatan lebih efektif dengan bantuan media promosi, salah satu media promosi kesehatan yang efektif dalam upaya menciptakan perilaku baru adalah buku saku.
Metode: Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan desain pre ekperimen dengan rancangan one group pre-test dan post-test pada 100 pasangan usia subur, uji statistik menggunakan uji Wilcoxon.
Hasil: Terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan PUS sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan edukasi kesehatan menggunakan buku saku prakonsepsi antisipasi kehamilan berisiko (p 0.000).
Kesimpulan: Buku Saku prakonsepsi efektif digunakan sebagai media edukasi kesehatan sebagai antisipasi kehamilan berisiko.
Saran: : Buku saku dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai salah satu media pendidikan kesehatan untuk mencegah terjadinya kehamilan berisiko.
