Literature review: workplace violence dan turnover intention pada perawat

Latar Belakang: Perawat, di tempat kerja, berhadapan langsung dengan pasien sehingga berisiko tinggi untuk mengalami workplace violence (WPV), seperti verbal violence dari pasien atau keluarga pasien. WPV ini akan meningkatkan terjadinya turnover intention (TI) yang pada akhirnya mempengaruhi kualitas pelayanan kepada pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh dari WPV terhadap TI pada perawat.
Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian literature review. Tiga database digunakan untuk mencari artikel penelitian cross-sectional tentang pengaruh WPV dan turnover intention pada perawat. Kriteria pencarian literatur dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan PICOS.
Hasil: Hasil penelitian literature review ini menunjukkan bahwa WPV dapat memberikan pengaruh terhadap keinginan perawat untuk berhenti bekerja di tempat kerjanya. Hubungan antara WPV dan turnover intention ini dipengaruhi beberapa variabel mediator, yaitu stress kerja, burnout, dukungan sosial, kepuasan kerja dan organisational support
Kesimpulan: WPV mempengaruhi TI pada perawat, dimana hubungan ini dipengaruhi oleh beberapa variabel mediator, seperti stress kerja, burnout, dukungan sosial, kepuasan kerja dan organisational support
Saran: Organisasi tempat perawat bekerja, dalam hal ini rumah sakit, klinik, puskesmas, dan lainnya, dapat meningkatkan dukungan sosial dan organisational support terhadap para perawat sehingga dapat meminimalisir efek WPV dan turnover intention.
