Studi kasus prosedur pemeriksaan radiografi nasofaring dengan klinis hipertrofi adenoid

Latar Belakang: Nasofaring mengandung jaringan adenoid yang jika membesar (hipertrofi) dapat mengganggu pernapasan, tidur, dan pendengaran. Radiografi proyeksi lateral digunakan untuk menilai ukuran adenoid dan derajat obstruksi. Di Instalasi Radiologi RSUD Banyumas, terdapat perbedaan prosedur pemeriksaan dengan teori, sehingga perlu dianalisis metode dan teknik yang digunakan untuk memastikan kesesuaian dan efektivitasnya.
Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus untuk menganalisis prosedur radiografi nasofaring pada hipertrofi adenoid di RSUD Banyumas, dengan data diperoleh melalui studi pustaka, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, lalu dianalisis secara sistematis.
Hasil: Pemeriksaan radiografi nasofaring dengan klinis hipertrofi adenoid di RSUD Banyumas menggunakan proyeksi kepala lateral, cukup untuk menilai pembesaran adenoid. Pengukuran adenoid menggunakan metode Fujioka, untuk menghitung rasio adenoid terhadap nasofaring.
Kesimpulan: Pemeriksaan radiografi nasofaring di RSUD Banyumas menggunakan proyeksi kepala lateral tanpa persiapan khusus, efektif sebagai skrining awal. Pengukuran dengan metode Fujioka (rasio 0,6) menunjukkan hipertrofi, dan proyeksi tambahan soft tissue dilakukan jika diperlukan.
